SIRENS is an exploration of the feminine, the mythic and the elemental - the unveiling of a body of paintings that has emerged and evolved over more than two decades.

Moving between figuration and dreamscape, the works inhabit a fluid territory of women, water, mermaids, goddesses and imagined beings. Here, the sea becomes both landscape and interior world: a place of memory, desire, transformation and return. The Siren exists at its threshold - neither wholly woman nor creature, neither of land nor sea - an ancient, liminal figure through whom ideas of beauty, sexuality, freedom and feminine power can be explored.

Throughout mythology, the Siren has been cast as an object of both fascination and fear: irresistible yet dangerous, her beauty and her voice possessing the power to destabilise those who encounter her.

SIRENS returns to this archetype and asks us to look again. What happens when the Siren is released from the story told about her? When she is no longer observed through the gaze of those who fear her, but encountered on her own terms? These works reclaim the Siren as sovereign and self-possessed - sensual without apology, mysterious without explanation, belonging ultimately to herself.

Moving between land and water, the visible and invisible, the Siren calls us beneath the surface: into the depths of psyche, soul and the forgotten wisdom of the feminine.

These works are portals.

They speak of longing and liberation, of drowning and rebirth, of the deep remembering that happens when we surrender to what we already are. Through painting, print, and sacred object, this exhibition is a living temple to the feminine mysteries of water.

Presented together for the first time, SIRENS marks both a culmination and a beginning: the emergence of a private mythology developed across decades into a wider creative world. The exhibition brings together Emma’s original paintings alongside prints, jewellery and sacred objects.

It marks the launch of the SIRENS Oracle Card Deck, and a much wider project and eco-system of water work, education, healing and ancient remembering.
